| Strategy | Flying dragon that fiercely protects its nest by breathing scorching soul-fire fireballs (12 damage, ranged). Wild wyverns cannot be tamed directly -- hatch a Bone Wyvern Egg by placing it on soul fire/a soul campfire, then raise it. Tameable using Fermented Spider Eye as taming food per an earlier fan-guide note; the official wiki instead documents hatching+raising as the taming path. Adults are rideable with a saddle, can wear Dragon Armor, and breathe fire on command while mounted. |
One of four tameable Dragons; the only one documented to spawn in the Nether (Soul Sand Valley). Keywords combine the earlier Marketplace-screenshot-derived description (tan, bone-colored wings, dark red patterning) with what the egg icon itself shows: a purple, teal-bottomed egg.
